What can I expect from MKD?
First and foremost what a client can expect and will receive from MKD is Integrity and professionalism.
MKD has been in business for almost twenty (20) years and believe that we have changed the industry immensely by our high standard of investigative professionalism.
MKD has over 35 investigators, one of the largest investigative firms in the country. MKD’s management team and investigators are all former police officers (detectives) from various polices services that include:
MKD’s team has a combined police and professional private investigative experience of over a thousand years. Each of MKD’s investigators has specific professional training and extensive experience in a variety of investigative disciplines.
When a client approaches MKD for services, they can be assured, they will receive the best and objective investigative service in the industry. As equally important, if MKD is unable to assist an individual or business with their objective(s), MKD will tell you so, prior to engagement.

What is a "Corporate Investigator"?
A corporate investigator is solely responsible to the corporation he/she works for (employer). However a corporate investigator will mostly likely hold a private investigators license. A private investigator provides a greater variety of investigative services. To a certain degree, a corporate investigator and a private investigator conduct the same services, but a private investigator usually provides a greater variation of services to an assorted client base.
A corporate investigator typically initiates investigations and or directs matter pertaining to:
•Company and employee related safety issues
•Untoward acts on or in relation to company property such acts of theft, vandalism, mischief etc. by internal and/or external parties,
•Acts of assault or sexual assault on or in relation to company property.
•Prepare and up-date security protocols
•Acts of fraud and/or theft of propriety property
•Misuse of corporation computers or other electronic devices.
What is the role of a Private Investigator?
As a brief example, a private investigator can legally provide services that are in the public realm, such as:
•Surveillance, as long as the subject of the surveillance is in location where there is no expectation of privacy (public place).
•Conducting witness Interviews,
•Research stemming from public accessible data bases,
•Forensic Services (as long as a client has legal authority)
One should ensure that the private investigator you retain, always conducts his/her investigation in an appropriate manner and within jurisdictional law. A truly professional private investigator will not cut corners and provide the client with court defensible investigation services.
How do I hire a Private Investigator?
MKD always recommends you first research the firm you wish to retain, to help ensure you obtain the most professional and credible services at a true value before hiring. Before retaining the services of an investigator, one should always have full and frank discussions with the number investigative company(s) providing the service. Amongst a variety of questions you may have, always ascertain who will actually be doing the investigations and what are his/her investigative background (professional qualifications). As an example, all of MKD investigators are all former professional police officers (detectives) from a variety of police services, each with an investigative discipline. Always try to ensure, in the best way possible, that you are getting true professional services, which you should expect and get.
